The house rules.

1. The service

Foodburn generates AI-written humour cards from your Swiggy order history. The roasts are entertainment. They aren't financial, dietary, or psychological advice and shouldn't be taken as such.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. By signing in, you confirm both.

3. Your account

One account per phone number. You're responsible for keeping your phone secure — anyone with access to your SIM can request an OTP.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Sign up with phone numbers you don't own or aren't authorized to use
• Scrape, automate, or otherwise access the service except via the website UI
• Reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with rate limits and abuse controls
• Attempt to extract our prompts, the Anthropic API key, or any internal credentials
• Use Foodburn to generate, share, or train models on content that harasses, defames, or targets specific individuals beyond the person whose orders are being roasted (you)
• Resell access to Foodburn or its outputs

5. AI-generated content

The roast text is produced by an AI language model based on your aggregated stats. It can be wrong, weird, repetitive, or in poor taste. Foodburn is not responsible for the specific wording of any generated card. You can regenerate at no cost. If a generation violates a sensible standard, regenerate or report it via support@foodburn.in.

6. Data and privacy

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using Foodburn, you accept it.

7. Intellectual property

The Foodburn name, logo, page design, and prompt templates are ours. Your account, stats, and the roast cards generated for you are yours — we grant you a perpetual right to share them, including with our branding visible on the card. You are not authorized to remove or alter the Foodburn watermark from generated cards.

8. Service availability

We aim for the service to be up but make no uptime guarantee. Burn Day is the 1st of every month; planned maintenance, if any, will avoid that window when possible. We may rate-limit, throttle, or temporarily refuse service to protect the platform.

9. Disclaimer

Foodburn is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The maximum liability of Foodburn under any claim arising from your use of the service is the total amount you've paid us, which today is zero rupees.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse rate limits, or attempt to bypass abuse controls.

11. Not affiliated with Swiggy

Foodburn reads your Swiggy order history via the public Swiggy MCP interface with your authorization. Foodburn is not endorsed by, partnered with, or operated on behalf of Bundl Technologies Private Limited (Swiggy).

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be highlighted at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
